Adele

Adele’s Grammy night was an emotional roller coaster

She made Grammy history, made Beyoncé cry and then (kind of) announced her marriage.

There were plenty of surprises at the 2017 Grammys, but none more so than referring to longtime partner Simon Konecki as her "husband", with both the singer and her other half sporting rings on their wedding fingers.

Adele later confirmed their marriage while on tour in Australia, telling fans, "That feeling when you first fall for someone is the best feeling on Earth. And I'm addicted to that feeling. Obviously, I can't go through with those feelings because I'm married now."

Congratulations, Adele and Simon!

Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher

They managed to keep their nuptials a guessing game until months after the summer 2015 ceremony, with Ellen DeGeneres eventually getting the truth out of Ashton during his appearance on her talk show in March 2016. “Yeah. It was a ninja effort," Ashton told the host. "We really didn’t want helicopters at our wedding and it’s a legitimate concern. I was like posting things on social media that we were in different locations… We didn’t want to be screaming our vows at each other.”

There are rumours the girl group are reforming for more than a viral clip, however.

While recent years have seen us treated to glimpses of and ’s 2008 wedding via videos on their joint On The Run tour, for a long time it was an almost mythical occasion, shroud in secrecy. Margot Robbie and Tom Ackerley

Suicide Squad star Margot is one of the most recent stars to secretly say ‘I do’, with her wedding to Tom Ackerley taking place in Australia’s Byron Bay in December 2016. Margot is said to have worn her mother’s wedding dress and later confirmed the happy occasion on Instagram.

Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka

In 2014, official cool dads Neil and David secretly married in Perugia, Italy. After more than 10 years together, the couple were serenaded at their ceremony by , and had their first dance to ’s A Moment Like This. The world only found out when NPH tweeted this super cute pic.

Mary-Kate Olsen and Olivier Sarkozy

Since swapping acting for fashion design, Mary-Kate Olsen (pictured above right, with twin sister Ashley) has led a notoriously private life, and her 2015 wedding to French banker Olivier Sarkozy was no different. Their 50-guest nuptials were held at a private residence in New York City, with everyone made to hand over their mobile phones on entry, and bowls of cigarettes reportedly replacing traditional centrepieces.

Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux

Disguising their 2015 nuptials as a house party, Jen and Justin’s friends supposedly had no idea what was coming when they showed up at their Bel Air mansion, until a priest arrived. Speaking to Good Morning America after the wedding, JenAn said, “We had the beautiful luxury of having a beautiful private moment and I’m going to be selfish and keep it that way. I’m not telling you about any of that stuff!”

If you've got a semi-permanent eyebrow issue, Ryan Reynolds can help. Kind of.

Inviting just 35 guests, Blake and Ryan were married at Boone Hall Plantation in Charleston, South Carolina. The 2012 ceremony featured a performance by Florence Welch, an insane dessert table and an appearance in Martha Stewart Weddings – though the photos focused on the wedding’s smaller details, with no revealing photos of the bride and groom’s outfits.
