What you can expect to see when Lady Gaga performs at the Super Bowl

More than 110 million people around the world watch The Super Bowl every year. Yes, it's a pretty big deal.

A lot of those people are very excited about the sporting aspect, but the rest just want to see the popstar performing during the break.

This year it's turn to play the biggest gig in music. The only thing we know for sure is that it will be a performance to remember, because Gaga never does anything less.

But there are few hints of what we can expect from her halftime show and yes, is one of them.

What to expect from Lady Gaga's Super Bowl performance

Will she give us the hits or will she treat us to a big jazz mash-up?

Here's what we think you might see at Gaga's gig of a lifetime.

A lot of hit singles

Lady Gaga's nine year career has given us some of the best pop songs of a generation, so don't expect her Super Bowl performance to be light on the bangers.

She doesn't have time to rattle through all her biggest tunes, but when you're picking from the likes of Bad Romance, Just Dance, Born This Way, Poker Face, Alejandro, The Edge Of Glory, Paparazzi, Marry The Night, Applause and Perfect Illusion, we're OK if not every one makes the 13 minute setlist.

A big dose of jazz

The only confirmed guest (and yes, there are other rumours) is her BBF , meaning she will press hold on the hits for a few minutes to perform one of their many duets.

The pair have released two collaborative jazz albums and Lady Gaga is fond of lengthy jazz interludes during her live shows.

She gave us a lot of it at Radio 1's 2011 Big Weekend and we loved every minute.

A powerful (and possibly political) speech

Lady Gaga has been a powerful activist during her career and more so recently during protests against Donald Trump's election as the US president.

Whether she addresses the current occupants of The White House directly or not, we can definitely expect a strong message from Gaga's show.

"The only statements that I’ll be making during the half-time show are the ones that I have been consistently making during my career," she said during a press conference for the Super Bowl.

"I believe in a passion for inclusion, I believe in the spirit of equality."

TBC underboob

when she released Perfect Illusion, her t-shirt was very small. There was underboob.

But she was dressed a little more modest for the NFL press conference.

And she looks adorable in both.

'Hairography'

Don't expect booty shaking from Lady Gaga, her Super Bowl performance is all about how you work your hair.

That subtle swish is probably harder to pull off than it looks.

TBC a Beyonce appearance

You might think a woman pregnant with twins would definitely not be up for performing at the Super Bowl this year.

But that was before we saw THOSE photos of a heavily pregnant Beyonce this week. It's Beyonce, nothing is off limits.

On Thursday, Lady Gaga posted a seemingly innocent photo sat in a garden, but it was her use of the bee emoji that got people talking.

So is that a bee or a Bey?

Oh, and the Super Bowl is taking place in Houston, which just so happens to be where Beyonce lives.

So TBC we've also just had a look at Beyonce's garden. Lovely lawn.

If Beyonce is performing, Gaga is staying very tight-lipped

Lady Gaga did speak about Beyonce at the NFL press conference but like a true professional, she gave nothing away.

"She's always very inspiring and gives great advice, she's a very focused and genuine performer," she said.

"I'm going to be taking the spirit of many performers with me on that stage when I go up there."

"I'm grateful to have wonderful women in this business that are supportive of me."

Gaga, that tells us NOTHING!

One helluva proud mum

No matter how much you're looking forward to this year's Super Bowl performance, you can be sure Cynthia Louise Bissett is more hyped.
