Butlins- August 2024
We contacted Butlins and it said that unfortunately, its pool encountered a few issues following a major leak. It said it had communicated this on its website and emailed guests to keep them updated. It said it was working hard to get the pool fixed and can confirm the main pool in Skegness will reopen on 29 July. In the meantime, it said its water rides, flumes, rapids and tots pool are still open, and that it had opened the outdoor Splash Park and that it has also put on a Big Top Circus and Roller Rink that are both free of charge for families to enjoy.
It said it was sorry for the recent experiences in guest accommodation in Skegness, which isn’t acceptable and doesn’t meet the high standards it expects its guests to receive. It said it was working closely with its team on resort to address these issues and want to reassure guests that it has strict cleaning and hygiene policies in place.
