When Nic married Will in 2012, Mia and her older brother Jake changed their surnames to Grundy and moved in to Greenwood Cottage.
When Mia's mother, Nic, died suddenly of sepsis in 2018 Mia was just 12 years old. Her life was turned upside down and with Will struggling with his own grief she bore the demands of running a household including caring for her little sister, Poppy.
Since her mother's death, Mia splits her time between living with her dad, Andrew and staying with step-father Will in Ambridge where she spends time with boyfriend Brad Horrobin. Mia's a passionate vegan, eco warrior and champion of other causes including an attempt to sabotage the Hunt Ball.
Mia hopes to go to University and will be one of the first in her family to do so.

Molly Pipe
Molly Pipe was introduced to radio acting through the Norman Beaton Fellowship auditions, and has since appeared multiple times on Radio 4 dramas. She is an avid podcast listener and guest, and is a former host of the National Food Service podcast.
Outside of audio, Molly has worked with the Royal Shakespeare Company, Birmingham Rep and others. She recently started a degree in Politics and Social Policy, and hopes to work as a journalist.
Occasionally, Molly can be found morris dancing!
