Yvonne Cobb's Chocolate Lava Cakes

Yvonne Cobb joined us in studio to show us how to make delicious melt in the middle chocolate lava cakes, in the air fryer!

YOU WILL NEED

  • 50g Milk Chocolate chips
  • 50g Dark Chocolate chips
  • 100g Unsalted Butter
  • 2 Eggs
  • 50g Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Essence
  • Pinch Salt
  • 20g Self-Raising Flour

METHOD

  1. Pre-heat your air fryer to 180 degrees Celsius
  2. Melt the chocolate gently in the microwave or on the hob. Be careful not to burn it or let it crystallise. It should be smooth in consistency.
  3. Gently melt the butter in a pan and add it to the chocolate. Mix together until combined and silky smooth
  4. Beat 2 eggs in a bowl and add the sugar. Mix until combined
  5. Add the eggs and sugar to the chocolate
  6. Add vanilla essence and pinch of salt
  7. Add flour and mix until completely combined and smooth
  8. Distribute into four oven proof ramekins or individual muffin tins
  9. Cook in the air fryer at 180 degrees Celsius for 6 minutes
  10. Allow to stand for 1 minute, then remove from the ramekins and serve immediately
