Climate graphs
Bar charts and line graphs can be combined. Climate graphs are an example of this.
The x-axis shows the months of the year and there are two y-axes to show average temperature and total rainfall (also known as precipitation). The temperature is shown as a line and the rainfall as bars.
When describing a climate graph, you should include: -
- The highest and lowest rainfall figures and the month they occurred.
- The total annual rainfall.
- The average rainfall.
- The highest and lowest temperature figures and the month they occurred.
- The temperature range.
- The average yearly temperature.
