Tamás Krapeczmoved to Bromyard, from Hungary, aged 14 - and he's been living here ever since.

He says he really enjoys making music on his laptop - and that's what he brought along to Jacqueline's Nightclub, in Ross-on-Wye, alongside some other musical toys!

With one of our favourite artist names of all time, Andrew Marston says RustySchnitzel is “at the cutting edge of songwriting, producing some of the biggest sounds in the Midlands”.

Ellie Goulding returns

It all began at open mic nights at a place called Doodies on St Owens Street in Hereford (which is sadly no more).

Ellie Goulding's meteoric rise to fame has been one of the most impressive in the modern day music industry.

Back in 2008, the Kington singer/songwriter sent some of her tracks into us - which we wrote about online and played on the radio.

We got her in for a chat - and even borrowed a guitar from a local music shop for her to play on-air.

She actually started singing as part of her drama classes at Lady Hawkins High School before attending Hereford Sixth Form College.

She's now Herefordshire's most successful-ever export - having achieved more top 40 records than the Pretenders and Mott The Hoople put together.

It's been three years since her last album, Delerium, but now the wait is over as it's full steam ahead with number of single releases teasing ahead to her new album.

We look back at Ellie's journey so far as she joins us from the Brooklyn Bowl in Las Vegas.

Bohemian Rhapsody

The film of the moment - if not the year - is the Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody.

The track itself was recorded just over the Herefordshire border at Rockfields studio - they still have the piano it was played on there and use it on tracks to this day.

Rockfield Studios are now run by Lisa Ward, who was just a child while Queen were living/recording there.

Went to have a look around with Lisa - and Paul Cobbald, who’s one of the original Rockfield engineers.

tv Music Introducing in Ross-on-Wye

Our sessions, this month, come from Jacqueline’s Nightclub in Ross-on-Wye.

Under its former name, The Top Spot Ballroom, the venue was popular for bands in the late '60s and throughout the '70s.

The Beatles were booked to play there for £35.

Van Morrison, The Kinks, The Move and Fleetwood Mac have all also played the venue.

Pink Floyd, however,!

Worcester Christmas Lights

At tv Introducing in Hereford & Worcester, we support the very best new music from across our region.

Since 2005,we've broadcast more than 1,000 sessions, helping to showcase some of our area's most talented musicians to a massive audience.

We’ve handpicked some of our favourite acts to join us to switch on Worcester’s Christmas Lights!

Not only is this a fantastic opportunity for the musicians we’ve selected (who didn’t even know they were being considered for this incredible gig!), but also a chance for Worcester to see the amazing talent we have right here on our doorstep. As always, we also hope this will also inspire other musicians to share their music with us.

The event, this year, moves from the Guildhall to the newly-revamped Cathedral Square under the statue of Sir Edward Elgar. The recording and switch-on takes place on Thursday, 22 November with these festive sessions being broadcast throughout December.
