Your Story: My Granda at the age of 21

As part of our project in history I interviewed my Granda who had a lot of memories from the past. He told me:

I was working for Wallsend council, as a Depot clerk at Wallsend-line Kiln Road depot. I worked for 371/2 hours a day. The people who worked with me were other workmen: joiners, bricklayers, painters, plumbers and office workers. More...
