Classroom Ideas

If the class are studying social inequality, following the clip, encourage students to discuss to what extend the clip demonstrates the nature of social inequality in Scotland. If the class are studying crime and the law, ask students to discuss with their group the extent to which poverty can cause some individuals to become involved in crime. Investigation could be carried out into whether there are specific correlations between poverty and particular types of crime.
