Wrexham

Ian is a Chartered Town Planner who graduated in Geography from the University of Manchester. He also holds a Master's degree in Civic Design from the University of Liverpool.

Ian is employed as a Senior Planner at Savills where he provides advice to a range of clients on planning related matters. He  previously worked as a planner at Conwy County Borough Council and the Welsh Government. He is a member of the Royal Town Planning Institute's Policy and Research Forum in Wales and also serves as a Trustee Director of Planning Aid Wales.

A fluent Welsh speaker, Ian is from the Wrexham area. Ian's hobbies include travel, running and he has a keen interest in the media. He enjoys most sports but particularly football and regularly watches his home team Wrexham and Manchester United (where he once worked).
