Stuart Hobley, Audience Council member, East

Stuart Hobley lives in Essex and is the Head of Heritage Lottery Fund for London. He is responsible for grant delivery; stakeholder engagement and strategic impact; and building relationships between local partners and key sector organisations.

He was a member of the East panel four years ago, and deputised for the then Chair at Audience Council England.  He understands the passion many people have for the ±«Óătv, and also the need for people to feel their licence fee delivers good value for money.

As Trustee of a local Museum – The Gainsborough House Museum in Suffolk – Stuart understands the importance of clarity between governance and executive; the need for collaborative and consultative discussion and the requirement for clear communication.

Away from the office his interests include cinema, running; he listens to Radio 4, enjoys a range of programming across ±«Óătv TV; and he is a Visiting Fellow, at University Campus Suffolk.
