It is aimed at getting the Libyans’ oil to further enrich themselves.Ivory Coast must first pray for oil inorder to grasp UN resolution too.

    NS in Tripoli emails: I think that the air strikes are targeting Gaddafi's forces and Gaddafi himself, which is not a crime but I think the allied forces should give Gaddafi a little time so that perhaps he can surrender.

    Lynne in Scotland: I understand the cynicism which surrounds the news of the West's intervention, I was troubled by it too. The idea that it is 'all about oil' has to be at the forefront of the brain of most people. But if we do nothing what then?
