The away side have won all three of the previous European meetings between Manchester United and Paris St-Germain.

The French side won 2-0 at Old Trafford in the 2018-19 Champions League last 16.

Chelsea are looking to win four consecutive Champions League matches for the first time since March/April 2012, en route to winning the trophy for the only time.

Manchester United’s Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could become just the second manager to win three consecutive Champions League games against PSG, after Luis Enrique with Barcelona in 2014-15.

I have just been chatting to a PSG official.

They are genuinely concerned about the damage Edinson Cavani could do to his old club tonight.

PSG really need to win, otherwise they know Manchester United will go to Leipzig next week with their last-16 place all but assured but needing a result to give last season's runners-up a chance of going through.

Chelsea

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard, speaking to BT Sport on making nine changes: "The schedule is one reason. Players need to rest because they are playing every few days but the flip side is that the other players are training hard and deserving to play."

On Callum Hudson-Odoi starting: "Continuation of how he played against Rennes and how he has been in training. I want him to bring that energy into the team."

On Billy Gilmour potentially coming on: "Possibly. Always hard to make those calls pre-game depending on what happens in the game. I'd love to give Billy some minutes if I can but the game comes first."

Drama. RB Leipzig have just gone 4-3 up in injury time against Istanbul Basaksehir thanks to former Crystal Palace striker Alexander Sorloth.

That means Manchester United can't wrap up the group today.

Since the start of the 2016-17 season, PSG have only failed to score in one of their 39 games in the Champions League.

They have netted an average of 2.4 goals per game in this run (95 in total).

The only side to keep a clean sheet against them in this time was Bayern Munich in last season’s final.

Data company Gracenote say United have an 83% chance of progressing to the knockout stages.

Simon Gleave, head of sports analysis at Nielsen's Gracenote said: "Group H was expected to be the most open and so it has proven to be.

"Three teams all still have at least 40% of qualifying and it is possible that nothing will have been decided before the final matchday.

"Defeat today will make United the outsiders of the three though."

As things stand Manchester United will wrap up the group if they beat PSG tonight.

Istanbul Basaksehir are drawing 3-3 with RB Leipzig with five minutes to go thanks to a Irfan Kahveci hat-trick.

Daniel Quirk: Rashford, Martial, Fernandes and Cavani. That’s good enough to scare any of the top European teams.

Edinson Cavani is a natural born striker, a proper number nine, his movement in the box is brilliant. The likes of Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and Mason Greenwood can learn from him. Martial is trying to be a number nine, but you couldn't ask Cavani to go out and play as an 11 or a seven, he's a perfect centre forward.

As soon as the ball comes into the box his movement is superb, he goes one way then moves across the defender, once the defender is looking at the football Cavani has already made his move and that's how he's getting most of his goals, the young strikers at Manchester United can learn from it.

It makes me laugh because a lot of United fans say it was a panic buy because they didn't get Jadon Sancho, they questioned the signing. But he's been first class and he works ever so well.
