Peter Wright is known for his colourful attire and tonight he has shamrocks all over his predominantly green outfit.

He heads to the stage first, followed by the world champ Luke Humphries, who tries to get the crowd going before his quarter-final contest. It's working... but they're chanting Wright's name!

These two met in the semis last week in Nottingham and Humphries was a comfortable 6-1 winner.

It's likely Luke Humphries wins, but you can't take anything for granted in the Premier League. He's got 15 more points than Peter Wright and you think now has to be the time for Wright to kick on.

Peter Wright, speaking to Sky Sports: "I've got Luke Humphries again, he trounced me last week.

"I felt like Robin Hood beating Gerwyn Price last week, robbing Gezzy for the doubles he missed, but I missed a lot of doubles too."

It’s the world champion and Premier League leader who start tonight’s proceedings.

Luke Humphries is on a six-match winning streak in this competition and he begins his bid for a third straight night win against Peter Wright, who finally got off the mark with a first win of the competition in Nottingham last Thursday.

That put the Scot on two points, nine behind fourth-placed Nathan Aspinall.

The player finishing fourth in the table in each of the past two years has ended with 24 points, so realistically Wright needs at least a couple of night wins and some very consistent form to get back into play-off contention.

We've just seen some pictures of the players warming up for tonight's games and it seems a few of the players are wearing green shirts - Nathan Aspinall, Rob Cross and Peter Wright among them.

That's one way to get onside with the Dublin crowd.

The world number one, 29, defeated Michael Smith, Peter Wright and Nathan Aspinall to move above Michael van Gerwen at the top of the league standings.

That means league leader Luke Humphries will take on eighth-placed Peter Wright in his quarter-final, second plays seventh and so on.
