Hope you are enjoying the summer. What typical summer weather we are having, a few glimpses of sun accompanied by an abundance of rain. Anyway, I digress.

There seems to have been a few instances recently of comments disappearing after they have been submitted for publishing. This has happened with some of the tuppenceworth contributions from IBHQ too and it is rather annoying when it happens.



Last week, I set out around IBHQ and gathered up all the 'missing' comments I could find and sent them on their way - if you had a comment which went missing earlier then it may well be on the site now.

I've also heard from a couple of you that posts have gone live and then reappear as 'processing' even after they've been published. This usually happens if you edit a post. As all posts are submitted for publishing, even opening a post which is already live will mean that it is resubmitted for processing once more.

Anyone who recalls the fun we had earlier in the year when the spam filter got a bit too carried away with itself, will like me, hope that this isn't recurring. To that end, we'll keeping an eye on this and as always if you have any queries or just want to say hello you can e-mail islandblogging@bbc.co.uk or leave a message here.

"hello all ib bloggers--as you may have noticed i have had some problems with the net,but here i am back again and ready to bug you all once more. i have sold my house and start work in "Whitianga" on the first of december! Where is Whitianga??? yes you've guessed right in NZ! where in NZ??? right again on the fantastic,beautiful,magical "corromandel" which as you all know by now,i love!!I'm back nursing here in france for the time being and am doing night duty just now so am a bit tired but i enjoy my job so no problem!! two and a half years after hubby's death i am at last going to get widows pension--better late than never,i suppose! ok moan over here are some pics i took of grandkids whilst on a "childrens farm" in next village! Boy is Ryan who was five in feb and belongs to my daughter and her man,girl is anthéa who was three in may and belongs to my son and his girl, love to you all,carol
