Roped in to work at her family's ±«Óătv Farm, the drinking continued. Once pregnant, Alice spent a fortnight in detox. But after Martha's birth, her problematic drinking returned and caused upset for both Chris and much of her extended family. As a result the marriage collapsed under the strain and Alice and Chris ended up getting divorced. Eventually, Alice went to rehab.
