Mitch Loveridge is a 26-year-old singer/songwriter from Redditch who specialisesÌýin acoustic pop.
Ìý
He's been performing locally for more than a decade, but earlier this year we reported on his rags-to-riches story after releasing his own album following months of sleeping rough on the town's streets.
Ìý
Mitch had been living in the town's bandstand - but has turned his life around and has been doing a lot of work for various charities, from homelessness to mental health.
Ìý
Aside from his musical forays, Mitch is an avid gamer, loves performing magic tricks and adores his family and pets!
Ìý
"One of - if not - THE most inspirational musicians we've ever had on stage with truly incredible music and stories behind the songs" - Andrew Marston.

³§²Õ³Ü°ù's national success

³§²Õ³Ü°ù's national success
³§²Õ³Ü°ù were #2 in our success stories for 2017. The year before, their sister-group .
Ìý
Last year, the Worcester band took Reading & Leeds by storm on the ±«Óãtv Music Introducing stage - and their latest singles have been played by Daniel P Carter on ±«Óãtv Radio 1 plus Tom Robinson and Steve Lamacq on ±«Óãtv 6 Music.
Ìý
and also (both have also been in previous Top Tens). She's joined on stage by Anya Pulver, from Droitwich group Mansize, and Bristol drummer Jim Collins.
Ìý
Together, they've been taking the festival circuit by storm, including a performance at the start of the season on our stage at the Wychwood Festival. This followed an epic performance at ±«Óãtv Maida Vale.
Ìý
³§²Õ³Ü°ù describe their music as "pop songs drenched in grunge-heavy noise, with math-rock seeping through the seams. With vocal lines that tangle and intertwine, riffs so substantial they’ve got their own post code, and a beat - provided by former Maybeshewill drummer James Collins - that ties everything down with industrial power, this is a sound of colossal proportions."
Ìý
"³§²Õ³Ü°ù have everything you want from your favourite new guitar band: power, poise and catchy-as-heck tunes. Tina and Anya are up front, belting out the riffs and riding the harmonies, whilst Jim sits at the back driving it all along - a no frills, foot-tapping cocktail. Look out, Soeur will make your head spin." - Richard Pitt, ±«Óãtv Introducing.

±«Óãtv Music Introducing at the Worcester Music Festival

±«Óãtv Music Introducing at the Worcester Music Festival
This annual festival was first staged in 2008 by Chris Bennion, who produces Worcestershire Sauce, who set up a website called NotJustSauce - aiming to put Worcester on the map musically.
Ìý
Taking place in multiple venues across the city, from pubs, clubs, restaurants and cafes to historic buildings, river cruisers, record shops, on the streets and even in breweries, the festival is absolutely free to attend with hundreds of gigs to choose from from some of the best, new and emerging artists in the UK.
Ìý
Each year the festival raises money for a chosen local charity. This year the Worcestershire Association of Carers will receive all the money dropped into buckets at the festival's venues across the weekend.

The John Bonham Memorial Concert

The John Bonham Memorial Concert
Last weekend would have been John Bonham's 70th birthday - and to celebrate, the people of Redditch put on a huge gig in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust.
Ìý
Rolling Stone magazine ranked him number 1 in their list of the 100 Greatest Drummers of All Time - and the gig, last Saturday, saw fans and friends from all over the world join together to remember the Led Zeppelin drummer, who died in 1980.
