They describe themselves as medics and musicians in equal measure!

The Tympaniks, which refers to the membrane in the ear, play gigs around the West Midlands and are from Ledbury, Worcester and Birmingham.

Last year (their debut), their mission was to be played on the radio and in 2018 their dream was to play a festival.

We're pleased to have helped them achieve both!

GlastonBeoley is the first music festival of its kind to be held in the village of Beoley, near Redditch.

This new local festival, which took place last weekend, brought together around 20 artists from around the Midlands to perform on two stages.

The event was organised by local music duo Imaner - and it was all raising money for local charities.

The 2018 FIFA World Cup kicked off, this week, with England's first match taking place tomorrow night.

But one local group have written a song they want sung on the terraces!

Brothers Ken & Keith Hartland and their friend Gareth Smith, from Hereford, penned England (Come On!) after the last tournament four years ago.

Singing for the Pope
Hereford's Cathedral Choir headed to Rome, this week, to perform in front of the Pope and a worldwide audience.

The choir - made up of 12 adults and 18 boy choristers - are to perform on the steps of St Peter's Basilica at the end of the month, with around 125,000 expected to attend and millions more watching live on TV.

The Anglican Choir were invited to perform as part of the Pope's programme aiming to create dialogue between different churches and celebrating common ground.
