Ed Miliband 'Millionaires should get child benefit'
Labour Leader, Ed Miliband has told the Politics Show that he opposes coalition cuts on child benefits.
When asked my Jon Sopel whether those who earn a million pounds should receive child benefit Mr Milliband replied "yes, I’m in favour of it, as it is a cornerstone of universal benefit".
He added: "There aren’t many millionaires in this country. Families on £45,000 need child benefit."
