Bumper line-up for exclusive Live Lounge sessions at Radio 1's Big Weekend

±«Óãtv Radio 1 announced today that Lily Allen, Kasabian, Kelly Rowland, Paolo Nutini and JLS will perform exclusive backstage Live Lounge sessions at Radio 1's Big Weekend in Swindon.

This is the first time that Radio 1 has taken the Live Lounge backstage at its annual flagship event which takes place this weekend, Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 May.

Highlights from the special Live Lounge sessions will go out on Radio 1, between 1.00 and 5.00pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Listeners will be able to see what's going on in the Live Lounge via the backstage webcam at bbc.co.uk/radio1.

Jo Whiley, whose weekday show is home to the Live Lounge, announced the news this morning (5 May) on Radio 1.

She said: "I'm so thrilled we're taking the Live Lounge to Radio 1's Big Weekend in Swindon – it means we can offer listeners something that even the crowd in Swindon won't get to see. I'm especially excited about Jack Penate and also Paolo Nutini who is tipping up especially to play the all new portable Live Lounge on wheels! Its going to be a lot of fun!"
