Pennies For Pudsey

Ìý

The Royal Mint estimates that the average household has about £27 in coins lying around in jars, drawers or money boxes.

Ìý

Pudsey has joined forces with ±«Óãtv One's The One Show to encourage the nation to search for this lost change and raise "Pennies for Pudsey".

Ìý

Every penny donated will go to projects dedicated to positively enhancing the lives of disadvantaged children and young people across the UK.

Ìý

To donate your lost pennies just go into any Royal Bank of Scotland, Natwest or Ulster Bank and tell them you would like to give to ±«Óãtv Children in Need.

Celebrity Scissorhands

Ìý

Celebrity Scissorhands returns for a third series on ±«Óãtv Three on 26 October.

Ìý

Under the guidance of renowned British hairdresser Lee Stafford, celebrities will be transformed from the utterly unskilled to fully-fledged hair and beauty experts in just three short weeks.

Ìý

Celebrities include: The Apprentice's Lucinda Ledgerwood; ex-EastEnders actress Shana Swash; R&B singer and MOBO nominee Jay Sean; Stedman Pearson from Eighties pop sensation Five Star; The Real Hustle beauty Jessica Jane Clement; and former Grange Hill actor (Zammo), Lee Macdonald.

Ìý

Steve Strange will be the Celebrity Scissorhands Hair & Beauty Academy's Image Consultant. Last year, Steve created some horrendous hair horrors including shaving a "V" into the back of a lady's head and drawing blood when he cut a client's ear.

Ìý

This year, Steve will use his unique creativity to transform brave clients' make-up, clothes and hair – whether clients require a new look for a wedding, job interview or hot date.

Ìý

Clients going along to the training academy will be giving a donation to ±«Óãtv Children in Need, according to what they think the haircut or beauty treatment they receive is worth!

Ìý
