Your Story: Grandma Florist

She worked from 10am till 12noon, then took a break, and went back to work from 1pm till 7pm. And she made loads of friends, but most of the time no-one came in and she was very bored.

My Grandma is 63 now and she didn’t have many jobs. Normally she would be having a cup of tea chatting with her friends. I know my Nanna is a chatter box, she always will be. She liked the smell of the flowers, she used to tell my Mam.

If I was there when she done it, I would be proud. She worked there for about three years and she did like it. My Nanna was a bit poor when she worked and she started to get sick so she got a new job.
