Work
Your Story: Being a shop assistant for Hadrian grocery shops.

I worked in different kinds of shops. Some I had to get the things that people needed from the shelves behind the counter this was called counter service. In these shops I has to get a really big bag of sugar and weigh it into two pound and one pound bags. Another thing I has to weigh was butter that used to come into a big wooden barrel I had to cut big chunks and weigh it into one pound blocks. I also had to scrub the shop florrs and all the shelves and wash the windows. When I was serving customer I had to write down the prices of what they were buying and then I had to add up how much they had to pay. I enjoyed doing these jobs what I didn’t like doing was stock taking because it meant I had to work in the back shop.
