Coast | Holy Island

Holy Island (Image: boat and island)
Holy Island sits majestically on a rocky outcrop of the Whin Sill.

Holy Island or Lindisfarne is a wilderness location - a place of mystery, escape and solitude - which boasts a diversity of wildlife habitats.

The island is a fantastic sanctuary for wildlife and a great place to watch birds and go rock pooling.

Golden beaches, blue seas and a vast array of wildlife are some of the highlights of a trip to this natural treasure trove.

Mull

Mull lies at the centre of a group of islands off the west coast of Scotland, and is treasured for its unspoilt landscapes.

Dorset World Heritage Coast

The World Heritage Coast in Dorset stretches for about 95 miles. A visit to this stunning coastline takes visitors back in time 185 million years.

"We're in for a treat at the coast as we explore some of the most stunning habitats on offer here in the British Isles.

"We're obviously spoilt for choice when it comes to great coastal locations. So there are no excuses - get out and see wildlife for yourself."
