Feel The Love

With Feel The Love booming out of stereos across the country, Rudimental have created the soundtrack of summer 2012 and so it seems only right that these East Londoners should join the incredible line up on the In New Music We Trust stage.

Growing up on an eclectic diet of jazz, house, hip hop and garage, plus years in the studio honing their production skills led to Rudimental creating their distinctive bass heavy, soul–inspired dance sound. Single Spoons, partially named after the use of a humble kitchen implement, was an underground smash which spurned excited chatter about the talented foursome from the likes of The XX, Ed Sheeran, Wretch 32 and our very own Huw Stephens and Zane Lowe, who both went on to pronounce Feel The Love as their hottest record.

Rudimental will be turning their inate musicality in to effervescent, can’t-stand-still vibes at the likes of Creamfields and Ibiza Rocks this summer, but you can enjoy them for free at their homecoming on the Marshes. According to Piers from the band their ultimate dream is ‘thousands of people singing along to your song’. Come on Hackney, let’s make it happen.
