With the new football season almost upon us, we've given you a comprehensive preview of all the coverage you can expect to find on the ±«Óãtv. We hope you like what we've got in store for you; as ever, your feedback is very welcome, please feel free to leave a comment.

Is Lizzie going to be doing the 'Your Views' bit again on The Football League Show? I hope not, I really don't need to be told that Dave from Norwich is happy because his team won, or that Joe from Doncaster thinks the ref was poor. It's just a waste of time. I have no problem with the way she presents it, it's the fact that it exists at all that annoys me.

Apart from that, the ±«Óãtv's coverage of football is fantastic, better than we have a right to expect. Keep it up!

When it says '...you will be able to see every goal from the Premier League... on the ±«Óãtv', how does that work for Monday matches or midweek games (when not enough played to warrant an edition of MOTD)? Is it just a case of watch the following Football Focus and hope they may get shown in a brief roundup, or will brief highlights be available online or on the red button?

To comment three - we do not have the rights to offer midweek Premier League games online, basically.

Let me explain - there is a difference between live online 'simulcasts' and 'on-demand' content.

Simulcast means that when shows like Match of the Day and Football Focus are on TV we can 'stream' them on the website. But we cannot offer them as on-demand afterwards.

The exception, when it comes to the Premier League, is that MOTD2 will be in iPlayer, and MOTD2 has all the goals from the weekend. We have the rights to put MOTD2 into iPlayer from Wednesday mornings, which means you will be able to see all the goals from the weekend.

This doesn't apply for midweek goals. Although I believe you will be able to see those on Yahoo's site - they are a new Premier League licensee.

Our site will have all the SPL and Football League games on-demand, whether midweek or weekend.

Will there be highlights of any of the home nation's International matches on MOTD this year?

  • Comment number 6.

Will you still be able to watch the regional football league shows on iplayer?

What happened to Late Kick Off? I really enjoyed the show last year. Chappers was a great down-to-earth host and it was nice to have my team (Gillingham) at least mentioned every week.
This is a real loss for League One and Two fans.

How about showing some Blue Square Bet Premier League highlights this season?
Players who play for pride and not money, sounds like proper football to me.
Also, why only show live Championship games? Leagues 1 & 2 have entertaining, open and full blooded matches.

  • Comment number 9.

Can you show Watford once? You've virtually shown every team in the championship apart from us!

  • Comment number 10.

As always, the ±«Óãtv's football coverage is the most comprehensive and the best. If only the ±«Óãtv aired live Premier League matches rather than me being forced to endure Andy Gray, Richard Keys et al. At somebody else's house, obviously - I'm not going to give Sky my money.

But why does Phil McNulty have to stay?

Get rid of the silly e-mails section of the Football League Show.
I e-mailed many times and did not my e-mail read out and yet the same people got theirs read out.
Plus, why cant the ±«Óãtv get more than 10 Games from the Championship?
As pointed out a few times, 4 Teams virtually miss out and yet the ±«Óãtv had many teams missing because of its obession for Newcastle and do the Football League Show actually have some decent titles?
The titles were terrible and horrible yet you spend Millions on the Match of the Day titles???
    NEW TITLES PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How does Garth Crooks manage to keep his job yet you get rid of robbo and QOTW!?

  • Comment number 13.

What the hell are the new abbreviations on the left of the screen on 'Final Score'? It takes ages to work out the teams and by that time they go off to another league. Come on, what was wrong with the old system? Change has to be for the better surely!!

In Malaysia football had turned unpopular due to foreign players taking part in the country's leauge games,
Due to the popularising English Leauge and other European games the football fans switch to their TVs and the local media gives vast media coverage on overseas football games.
I hope the country's once the most popular games come back to its normal and be fans would turn up in droves.

I agree with Watford56, I never saw Reading featured as a main match last year, and I know Doncaster fans also feel they never get coverage. Please can we have a bit more variety, Newcastle and West Brom every week got so boring last year.

Also why do we get the same match twice so often; eg yesterday Leeds-Derby was live, and then also got extended highlights (?) and this happened last year too.

Thanks all for the comments. Some of them I can't answer as I'm responsible for the website, not the TV coverage, but I can say to those asking about the regional Late Kick Off shows, that they are due to return in January and should be available on iPlayer.

  • Comment number 17.

Please could you get one of your colleagues from ±«Óãtv Sport TV to answer the questions then?

  • Comment number 18.

Will ±«Óãtv be showing any welsh league games? Doubt it!

  • Comment number 19.

Who the hell is doing the summarizing on the football gossip column? Sheffield United in £550 million debt to HMRC? In fact its £550k. But one little error - and M instead of a K - makes all the difference. All too many errors like these popping up but this particular one is ridiculous. Please change.

Please can you take a look at this post:

I am hoping that MOTD at least gives Mark Halsey a mention for his comeback from throat cancer to referee again?

  • Comment number 21.

I find the ±«Óãtv website very helpful but one of the things I have never understood is the league tables. how are the teams with identical points and identical goal difference given their positions?

  • Comment number 22.

Are the bbc going to show any europa league matches this year?
