    Hi Andrew

It's Sophia from the 'See Hear' team.
I am glad you enjoyed the programme featuring Sanjay Topiwala climbing up Mount Killimanjaro.
If you would like any more information on this particular item, or you would like us to pass on a message to Sanjay directly, you could e-mail the See Hear team at seehear@bbc.co.uk. We'll make sure Sanjay receives your message.

You can normally find information on organizations or charities featured in our programme on our See Hear website.
But as a rule we will never disclose any personal details of our contributors.

    I hope this helps
    Best wishes
    Sophia

Hi I have just watched the episode tonight for 26th January. I am also born profoundly deaf and a strong BSL user and a member of the Deaf Community since I was a child and I have a cochlear implant which I had 3 years ago in my early 30s. It has really enhanced my enjoyment of music and I was amazed by my interest to watch ballet now which I was never interested in before. However, my experience with some hearing people since getting my CI has not been very positive due to their high expectations of me to understand speech which I still cannot understand and have suffered lots of stress and causing my confidence in some part of the hearing world to be knocked down. As I am proud of my Deaf ID and BSL and Culture, I continue to mix socially in Deaf world. Has other born profoundly Deaf BSL users implanted as adults had similar experience as me?
