Just got out of a....
two hour meeting about a new show for the Beeb, a television show. The meeting room was full of very nice, very cleverpeople and we were banding around a new format. Playing games to see if the games work, some did, some didn't but in the end I just had to leave top come and clarion the beginning of the bonk holiday from the towet tops of the mighty Radio 2.
Wrote the intro to the show just this sec, it's now seven to five and the printer has told us it doesn't want to print out that or any of the thousands of texts we are about to receive, oh bother, there is a whole bbc department trying to get it working as we speak.
It's baking outside, I have the American drop top with me and can't wait to screech off into the eatser sunset, when the clock strikes seven.
A short week and a long weekend, life is sweet, the Masters has teed off, I'm anything but hacked off but now I am in fact off, as the printer is threatening to explode Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Just read your biography. Just found why your accent is now so familiar. We moved up to Mow Cop last year from the south east and so are now not that far from where your were brought up.

Don't talk to me about the printers. Or the computers or the mobile phones and esPECially about the feckin' i-pods. I never experienced Tourrette's till I got plugged in to the spawn of the devil that is technology. Now I have to take Largactyl before I go into a phone shop lest I spontaneously combust and take half a dozen feckin' eejits tryin' to sell me 3,000 free texts and a holiday in Blackpool with me.
You do know that now you're Forty One you are officially Grumpy don't you.
So. If anybody spots a little blonde old biddy on the steps of Belfast City Hall, shoutin' an' roarin' an' shakin' her fist at nowt in particular, with wires stickin' out both ears and quite possibly the skirt tucked in the back of the knickers, don't worry. That's me. I'm harmless.
Well, unless you want to sell me a computer of course. In that case you'll need a skateboard helmet, knee pads and a large tubeof Germolene.

Still on sofa following op on my medial cartilage Tues - stiff n sore but the weather is keeping me cheery - along with the CLP bloggers.

What were you on this afternoon? Even more hyper than usual if you don't mind me saying so! I love it when other people are like that, but when its me I hate it, I feel out of control.
Got all the family over for dinner tomorrow, 12 of them, going to cook my little sis a roast as she's been in Japan for the last six months and missed out on a proper Christmas dinner.
I'm reading a very good book at the moment, Never let me go, can't remember who by, oh yes, the person who wrote The Remains of the Day. Has anyone else read it, got a feeling the endings not going to be very nice.

I can't believe I'm typing this in work! No day off for me...and yet half the country here is closed...weird!! Even the pubs are closed here today, which is unfortunate as I heard of someone flying in from America and delaying his flight so he could go out on the town on Friday night....oops!
Anyways, enough of my rantings...

1 - Head to beautiful West Cork
2 - Eat chocolate eggs
3 - Go for nice walks
4 - Eat more chocolate
5 - Do the gardening
6 - Eat more chocolae
7 - Take indigistion tablets and vow not to eat any more chocolate....at least for an hour....

Well Chris - aren't people funny......
I moved to Glastonbury a few weeks ago, and launched an Internet radio station for the town, and low and behold they loved it, they also loved the launch party for which I booked legendary guitarist Gordon Giltrap.
However, just a few days later, a company I am a major shareholder in, which until then had no interest in it - suddenly decided that THEY own it lol! (I guess success was unexpected lol!). I have since resigned form said company and given my time to running Glastonbury Radio full time!
Aren't folks strange!

My 1st day of blog interest today and this seemed as good a place as any to start.
Unlike many of you lucky people i've been in work everyday since the wednesday of last week, but today is my last in this stint of shifts so i get to join the legion of lucky folks for the last day of the bank holiday, and i have a BBQ invite in sunny Stockport to look forward to (fingers crossed this glorious weather will hold out for me too).
Just a quick two hours to go them i'm off home for an easter egg fest.

Afternoon, Chris! Hope you are having a fantastic weekend! We passed Gleneagles on our way to and from Ansturuther and wondered if you'd played there! I was all for going in for a nosy, but Mum thought security would tell us to take a hike!

Well I'm in one of those dogdy Internet Cafe's. Feels more like a gambling house. I am sat next to somebody from Canada who kindly advised me how to log on with my ticket. On the other side well they could be on a wanted poster sort of a person, or maybe a car dealer.
