Just listening to Kala..the new album by MIA..sitting in work ..am between houses at the moment which means no internet connection at home which feels like I've actually lost a limb. I have gained a limb..my laptop, on my back, whereever I go..so am writing this in the corner of the office tucked out of the way.
Got back from Ibiza on friday..it was brilliant, as usual, the radio 1 weekend involved very little sleep and alot of silliness and fun. There was a moment when I was standing outside Mambo with a ridiculous hat on and vernon kaye throwing waterballoons at my head that I wondered what I'd got myself into. The friday show was good to do..and my gig at Amnesia on the Saturday was a big thing for me to do...I've never seen Amnesia so full and so intense. It just gets better and better out there...I've got one more gig out there with Kissy Sellout the week after Bestival and then the Summer is over. Not that it even feels like Summer ..I bought myself a wintercoat yesterday..wha?!??!?!?
This summer has been quite a torture in what comes to wheather. It has been windy since... evr.
I have been dividing my weekends between my hometown (Marinha Grande) and Lisbon and some nights have been quitte amazing for the music and the company.
Nice to know everything is going well with you. Working, having fun in curious place I might visit next year in July.

I always like to tell you things about music nut than again I wonder if you don't investigate these things while making your sets.
I am completely and positively surprised with this Roger Waters work: an Opera (complete) in two CD's called "Ça Ira".
Hopefully I will get things done to build a community on the Livejournal to write abot music- albuns, covers, rarities, jam sessions: independent-alternative-experimental... no mp3 sharing unless is something previously released by the bands in question (two samples max. I will allow and also check the veracity of it all).

You absolutely smashed it that night and had me and my mate cutting up the dance floor all night.!!!
