Introducing yourself in Spanish

Description

Spanish speaking students introduce themselves and talk about where they are from.

Classroom Ideas

Students could interview each other in class, asking basic questions about where they live. To help them out, they could be provided with the following list of vocabulary ‘¿CĂłmo te llamas?’; ‘¿DĂłnde vives?’; ‘¿Eres Ingles/a?’; ‘¿DĂłnde es tu paĂs?’; ‘¿CĂłmo se llama el capital?’; ‘En que provincia vives?’ Make sure students have the correct pronunciation and allow them to use a hand-out sheet if necessary. Ensure they understand the use of ‘tĂș’, ‘usted’, ‘vos’, ‘vosotros’ and the verbs ‘ser ‘and ‘estar’.
