Rodd’s time quiz challenges you to tell the time - will your knowledge of counting, nursery rhymes and fairy stories get you through? First Rodd challenges you to read the time shown on the clock face and then count the bell bongs to tell the time. In the final round Rodd poses time questions based on nursery rhymes and fairy stories such as what time does Cinderella have to be home by? Talkie Time is a new style of playful learning for school or home which requires you to participate by reading the onscreen cues and doing the actions with your children.

Throughout this clip students could read out the dialogue written on the screen during the sketch as though actually talking with Rodd. A coin will be needed for the hand game at the beginning of the clip and should be placed in the right hand. During the quiz, students could join in by counting the ‘bongs’ and shouting out the answers to Rodd’s questions. After sharing this clip, students could make up their own quiz questions for each other. The class could be split into two teams who could compete against one an another in a similar time quiz.
