A woman who was the victim of a burglary describes how she felt, both physically and emotionally, about the crime and its consequences.
There are other clips from the âRestorative justiceâ series which tell the story of the burglary from the perspectives of the offender and the police.
Classroom Ideas
This clip could be used as a trigger for a discussion on the emotional and physical impacts of crime on the victims. Use in conjunction with written accounts from victims to allow the students to gain a deeper understanding of the hidden costs of crime and the Restorative Justice process.
