Assignment overview
The assignment is a piece of research that you must conduct on your own. Normally your teacher will give you eight hours in class, the library or in the computer room to conduct your research.
You will then be given a write-up date where you will be asked to write your assignment in one and a half hours under exam conditions within the classroom. You will be able to take a resource sheet in with you to help write the assignment.
How to start the assignment
To start you need to choose what your assignment is going to be about.
You can pick any topic that can be justified as a Modern Studies topic but the best advice is to pick a topic related to the Higher Course you are doing. If you do that the topic may come up in the exam and you can make use of your knowledge twice.
