Worst Wipeout: Never been brave enough to put myself in real trouble, been plenty scared though. One friday evening 4ft and glass in Porth Towan springs to mind.
Worst Surfing Habit: Always needing to know whats going on with the surf and being too weak and fearful when it gets proper big.
Best Surfing Experience: One Friday evening 4ft and glass in Porth Towan springs to mind! I always leave the water smiling if I'm pleased with myself, like every session is the best yet. Unless, of course, I've been too weak and fearful!
Weirdest Surfing Experience: Three days at Raglan, New Zealand and no swell, 10 days on the west coast of Ireland and no proper swell - maybe not a good idea to plan a surf trip with me!
Other Interests: The outdoors, mountain biking, mountain walking, walking and appreciation of wherever I am in general; kites, buggies and mountain boards. Vaguely still interested in climbing, caving and (more recently) mine exploration. Books, music, painting and drawing, woodcrafts, beer and trees. Very enthusiastic about accumulating as much sand and dog hair as possible in the carpets of the car, van and house.
