Orchestras, conductors and accompanists of the highest calibre support the competitors in their quest for honours.

2011 conductors

The ±«Óãtv National Orchestra of Wales, conducted by Jac van Steen, accompanied Concerts One and Three, with the Orchestra of Welsh National Opera, conducted by Lawrence Foster, playing in Concerts Two and Four. The ±«Óãtv National Orchestra of Wales also played in The Final, where each finalist performed with the same conductor as before.
