Cat Sandion has the first of two dance sessions exploring the theme of Autumn.

1. Windy weather and falling leaves

In this session the children show through their movements the different types of weather on an Autumn day. They stretch upwards in the sunshine, shiver in the chilly wind, work with a partner to grow as a tree, then spin around slowly, like the leaves falling. They then dance quickly around the space, as though they are the rolling leaves being carried by the wind. Finally, they put the moves they have learnt together to create a longer dance sequence.
