This lesson was created to get your pupils starry eyed for World Space Week (4-10 October 2021) and inspire budding astronomers as we link up with world famous physicist Professor Brian Cox.

The programme supports Key Stage 2/Second Level science curriculum aims by looking at the relationship between the Earth and the Moon.

Presenter Grace Webb is joined by scientist Greg Foot for an epic space experiment, where we discover how the Moon got its craters by creating a miniature comet in the studio.

We also learn about how space tech influences our lives every single day – from watching TV to crossing the road.

This live programme was made in 2021 and is now past. Please don't get in touch.

Thanks for all your questions for Professor Brian Cox, and sorry if we didn’t get to yours. We didn’t have time to show the whole interview during the Live Lesson, so here’s a longer version including extra questions to enjoy with your class.
