So another stellar night in the Championship comes to an end.

Just the 22 goals across six games and some exciting finishes, too.

But the midweek fun and games across the second tier don't stop there. We're back tomorrow with another set of fixtures to whet the appetite.

Leaders Leicester and second-placed Ipswich are both in action when we return in just under 24 hours' time.

But for now, thank you very much for joining us.

Despite the arrow incorrectly suggesting otherwise, QPR are the big winners towards the bottom tonight - their dramatic win over Stoke moving them to within three points of Huddersfield - who go to Sunderland on Wednesday.

Coventry rise five places while Sheffield Wednesday are now six points adrift at the foot of the table.

This is the lay of the land at the Championship summit after this evening's fixtures.

With Leicester and Ipswich not in action this evening, there's no change in the top two tonight.

Middlesbrough, despite the arrows on the graphic suggesting otherwise, move up to ninth by virtue of their stunning 4-0 win over Preston, who drop to seventh.

Hull move up to sixth and into the play-off places thanks to their win against struggling Rotherham.

The better team won across the 90 minutes. A lot needs to change for Norwich.

Norwich should be in the Premier League, or fighting for the play-offs, but going by that performance they are nowhere near it.

    Watford 3-2 Norwich

    The Watford comeback is complete!

What a performance. The Hornets were 2-0 down against Norwich, who had led through Danny Batth and Hwang Ui-Jo.

But Ismael Kone and Mileta Rajovic got them back on level terms by the break and Yaser Asprilla's classy late finish won it for the hosts.

That moves them up to 13th, a place above Norwich.

    QPR 4-2 Stoke

QPR have done it and secured their first home win of the campaign - to end a 12-game winless run at Loftus Road - with a 4-2 victory over 10-man Stoke.

Lyndon Dykes gave QPR the early lead but Stoke levelled through Ryan Mmaee, before seeing Enda Stevens sent off and Wouter Burger put them 2-1 up.

QPR's man-advantage eventually paid off though and late scores from Dykes, a Ben Pearson own goal and Chris Willock saw the R's wrap up a massive victory.

It was a terrific performance from Albion, what you call a professional performance.

It was a great team effort, they worked their socks off for each other.

Carlos Corberan, once again, will be pleased. It was not a classic game, but everybody in the Albion camp will be pleased and looking forward to the Leicester game on Saturday.

Still time for a fourth Middlesbrough goal and it comes in the final stages of added time against Preston.

    A great finish.

    Hull 4-1 Rotherham

Hull see out a comfortable win at home and move up to sixth for their trouble thanks to Tyler Morton, Jaden Philogene's double and Scott Twine's first-half tap-in.

Grant Hall had headed a consolation for Rotherham but the managerless Millers slip to another miserable defeat.

    Coventry 1-0 Plymouth

Haji Wright's 75th-minute goal is the only mark of difference at the CBS Arena as Coventry take all three points against Plymouth.

Argyle - still chasing a first win on the road this season - have every right to feel a bit aggrieved as Milan van Ewijk seemingly ran the ball out of play in the build-up to the goal.

    Chris Willock (90+2 mins)

It's been a long wait for QPR fans but their side have all-but ended their 12-game winless run at home in emphatic style.

Chris Willock gets the fourth for the R's, picking up the ball outside the box before curling it inside the near post beyond Jack Bonham, who dives the right way.

This is also the first time they've scored more than one game at Loftus Road in 23 league games.

If Loftus Road was bouncing a few minutes ago it might be about to lift off now.

QPR have turned the game on its head to retake the lead right at the death and capitalise on their player advantage.

You've got to feel for Ben Pearson, who sticks out a leg to clear a cross and instead sends it beyond his own keeper into the net.

    Watford 2-2 Norwich

We're in for a tense finale at Vicarage Road.

Watford's Ismael Kone got their first as they came from 2-0 down to level 2-2 with Norwich and he's come close to bagging his second of the evening.

Yaser Asprilla sends a cross into the box but Kone's header towards the top corner goes narrowly wide.
