Swansea and Birmingham will both be aiming to make it two wins from two when they meet at the Liberty Stadium this afternoon.

The Swans won at Preston last time out, and head coach Steve Cooper names an unchanged team from that victory.

As for the Blues, the only change from their opening win over Brentford is in goal, where former Cardiff keeper Neil Etheridge makes his debut. Another new signing, striker Scott Hogan, is on the bench.

Two clubs who won their opening games meet at Hillsborough, but Sheffield Wednesday are at the opposite end of the fledgling table to Watford.

Norwich are the second Championship club hosting a crowd pilot.

The Canaries, relegated from the Premier League last season, registered their first league win since 28 February with a 1-0 success at Huddersfield last week.

Preston, who are managed by former Norwich boss Alex Neil, saw their play-off bid falter badly at the end of last season and suffered an opening day defeat by Swansea.

They'll be looking to get their season up and running today.

Middlesbrough are set to be without boss Neil Warnock on the touchline, after the 71-year-old tested positive for coronavirus in midweek.

He watched Boro's League Cup defeat by Barnsley from a corporate box at the Riverside because he was "feeling unwell upon arrival".

Hopefully his absence won't affect the club's preparations too much, given the Teessiders also lost their opening league match at Watford last Friday.

At least a few Boro fans will be in the stands to cheer their side on.

Relegated Bournemouth have transitioned well to life in the second tier, with an entertaining 3-2 win over Blackburn a week ago and an epic penalty shoot-out win over Crystal Palace in the League Cup on Tuesday.

Last season's beaten play-off finalists Brentford suffered defeat at Birmingham last Saturday, and could be set for a transition season.

Transfer speculation suggests Said Benrahma will follow fellow forward Ollie Watkins out of the club.

But the Bees showed their quality by knocking Premier League club Southampton out of the League Cup in midweek and this will be their first home league game at their new Brentford Community Stadium home.

Huddersfield Town boss Carlos Corberan tasted defeat in his first league game in charge seven days ago.

Cardiff see out victory, with Kieffer Moore's two first-half goals proving to be the difference.

That gets Neil Harris' side, beaten play-off semi-finalists last season, off the mark.

The Bluebirds were made to work hard in the second half as Nottingham Forest improved after the break.

I'm not totally sure why we're still playing, but Cardiff deal with a late Forest corner.

Luke Freeman takes a pop at goal from the free-kick, and it goes harmlessly over the bar.

Forest get a free-kick some 25 yards out after the ball strikes Sol Bamba on the arm.

Lyle Taylor and Luke Freeman are over the ball for the hosts.

Another chance goes begging for Forest.

Lyle Taylor blazes over from the edge of the area after a slip from Leandro Bacuna gave the striker a sight at goal.

Forest have battled hard in search for a way back into the game, but their efforts look to be in vain.

A late chance falls to Forest forward Alex Mighten.

He gets on the end of a flick-on from Lyle Taylor and stabs the ball wide of goal as he loses his balance under pressure from the Cardiff defence.

Time is running out for Forest.

The visitors are understandably sitting back and defending in numbers.

Cardiff keeper Alex Smithies makes his first mistake of the game, fumbling a cross from right winger Alex Mighten.

But the hosts can't capitalise.

An hour has gone at Brunton Park, where Carlisle still lead Southend thanks to those two goals in the space of three first-half minutes.

The Shrimpers haven't really looked like scoring, it has to be said.
