Some real-life cricket news for you: Moeen Ali might be edging closer to a Test retrurn after being named in England's training group for the West Indies series.

He is one of 30 players who will train in Southampton, where they will play a practice game before the final squad is announced.

Moeen has not played since last summer's Ashes after taking a break from the longest format.

But, Hamish, I take your point that Rashid Khan can clear the boundary. He is useful with the bat but he only averages 18.5, so he definitely isn't batting above Ravindra Jadeja as a matter of course. Maybe when we need a pinch hitter...

Some more big-name casualties among the bowlers then.

Pat Cummins was closest to breaking in with 29% of the vote, while Trent Boult got 25%. Adil Rashid was the next closest spinner with 22%.

Pace, accuracy, variation, you name it, Jasprit Bumrah can probably do it. His bowling style may be unorthodox but it's mighty effective.

Since his debut in 2016, he has taken the fourth most wickets in the format, behind Rashid Khan, Adil Rashid and Trent Boult.

He's another, like Jofra Archer, who gives you superb control. He had the lowest economy rate of anyone to take 10 or more wickets in last year's World Cup.
