John Denver sings 'Some days are diamonds, some days are stone' and I have wakened up today with the cat dragging me to the fridge where her food is kept. Her look of saying 'I need you' certainly makes for a bright start to the day, and even though the glorious weather seems to have disappeared for a wee while, there is a feeling of optimism in the supabeachcomber abode. Could it be that having won £7.00 in the Euro lottery I have decided that tonight will bring me the 'big one'?
