Ìý Winter Blooms Part 1 Thursday 6 December 2001 Ìý
After a long glorious coloured autumn, things in the garden are turning wintry. But there is still enjoyment to be had.

In a new Woman's Hour series Corinne Julius picks a bunch of winter bloomers to bring colour to the garden in the company of Maggie Campbell-Culver, author of The Origin of Plants.
The first one is a bright red one called Vitis coignetiae (or Glory vine).
The Origin of Plants (Headline, ISBN: 0-7472-7214-X, £25.00).
