TheÌýpleasure of stationery 22ÌýJan 2010
new stationery
In an age of electronic communication will there always be those with a passion for paper?

January is the month forÌýbuying new calendars and diaries... if you’re at school it’s new pens, pencils and protractors. But in a time when almost everyone seems to rely on texts, e-mail or the internet to communicate or calculate, are the days of stationery numbered? Will new generations relish the feel of a crisp new notebook or special ink pen? To discuss the issues Jenni is joined byÌýstationery lover and author of "Is there a book in you?",ÌýAlison Baverstock and byÌýtechnology journalist, Claudine Beaumont, who organises her life electronically.
