Latest research raises questions overÌýbreast screening

One in three breast cancers detected by mammogram screening may actually be harmless, a study has suggested. New research from DenmarkÌýis based on statistical analysis and no-one yet has explained what does a doctor actually see on a mammogram that causes concern.ÌýAt what point is a biopsy neccesary? And what advice do expertsÌýgive, based on what they discover, about whether you might need a lumpectomy, a mastectomy, radiotherapy, chemotherapy or nothing?

Jenni is joined by Lester Barr; consultant surgical oncologist at the Genesis Breast Cancer Prevention Centre.
