Pig Keeping 19 Oct 2006
Pigs
Carol Harris reached the top of her profession in the Arts Council, rubbing shoulders with the cream of Britain’s artistic establishment. Then she decided to downshift, moved to mid Wales and started keeping pigs. She’s now an expert on the subject and has written a guide to traditional pig keeping. She’s not alone - the former editor of the Express, Rosie Boycott, has been raving about the joys of keeping rare breeds. So what’s the appeal? Caz Graham went to Welshpool to find out.
