Can diet pills work without addressing emotional issues relating to food?

This month a fat-busting pill went on sale over the counter in the UK. But do dieting mechanisms like these actually work without confronting the psychological and emotional issues that have caused overeating and obesity to start with? Journalist Hannah Jones examines her dysfunctional relationship with food in a documentary calledÌýFix My Fat Head, part of the ±«Óãtv's Headroom campaign. ÌýShe joins Jenni, along withÌýJulia Buckroyd, Emeritus Professor of Counselling at theÌýUniversity of Hertfordshire, and Dr Matthew Capehorn from the National Obesity Forum.

±«Óãtv Headroom has launched an action line, 08000 933 193, which offers callers advice about where to get support if they, or someone they know, is suffering from an eating disorder.
