±«Óãtv visits for people who can't reach the concert hall
Musicians on Call
The lines are now closed to book a visit from 'Musicians on Call'.Ìý

We'll be in touch soon with those whose requests have been successful

Musicians On Call is inviting the public to phone ±«Óãtv Radio 3 to nominate a friend, relative or colleague, who is unable to reach a concert hall, to receive a live classical performance in their own home or workplace.

The scheme will see professional musicians from 30 of Britain's leading orchestras perform 100 concerts - including a special guest appearance by cellist Julian Lloyd Webber - in living rooms, care homes, hospitals and workplaces across the UK .

'I'm delighted to take part in Musicians On Call,' says Lloyd Webber. 'So many people love music but simply can't get to a concert, whether for health reasons, or perhaps because they live in a remote area or work evening shifts. This is an opportunity for them to experience the excitement and intimacy of a live performance.'Ìý

Visits will take place throughout Listen Up! 2006, which runs from 29 September to 3 November.
