Roger Johnson
Biography
Roger co-presents North West Tonight with Annabel Tiffin. He also appears on the lunchtime and late evening bulletins.
Roger was born near Stoke-on-Trent and worked at ±«Óãtv Radio Manchester earlier in his career. He has also been a news presenter on the ±«Óãtv News Channel.
A versatile broadcaster, Roger joined North West Tonight from another of the ±«Óãtv's regional news programmes - South Today.
He has also worked as a football commentator and reporter for ±«Óãtv Sport - appearing on Match of the Day and Final Score. He worked with Match of the Day at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. Roger has won or been nominated for several Royal Television Society Awards.
He studied at the University of California at Berkeley - as part of an American Studies degree. While there, Roger also worked part-time for ABC Radio in San Francisco. He joined the ±«Óãtv in 1994.
