Tall, lean, Brot – or Lofty, as the Doctor calls him – is the village blacksmith.
The cries of Lofty’s baby convince the Doctor to stay and help the village. Brot’s expert fine-wire making skills and ring-toss abilities are put to the test in the final plan to defeat the Mire.
