Brought up in poverty, ambitious Milady found brief happiness as Athos’ wife before tragedy made them mortal enemies – drawing the former lovers into a vengeful game of cat and mouse that ended only when Milady fled to England, alone.

Four years later she crashes back into Athos’ life, as charming as ever and ruthlessly prepared to cause collateral damage in pursuit of what she wants.

Maimie’s extensive TV experience includes playing the title role in Victoria Wood’s Loving Miss Hatto, as well as roles in The Last Witch, Endeavour, Wallander, and the White, Desperate Romantics, Little Devil, Taggart and Waking the Dead.

She has played Milady de Winter since Series One of The Musketeers and is shortly set to appear in the ITV series DCI Banks.

Her film credits include Peter Warlock, Some Little Joy, The Boat People, Virgin Territory, Minotaur, The Libertine and Set Fire to the Stars. Maimie’s theatre experience includes roles in The Final Curtain, The French Lieutenant’s Woman and Our Town.
